Oddworld Inhabitants Tease Upcoming Nintendo Switch-Related Announcements

Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty Review Header

Oddworld Inhabitants has teased that fans of their quirky series will find that 2019 will “be a very Oddworld year” for Nintendo Switch.

We know that an Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath port is in the works for the portable home console, but Oddworld Inhabitants co-founder and president Lorne Lanning has hinted that more games are on the way – with news to come after E3 2019.

“If there is demand, we will remaster and improve upon games from our back catalog,” Lanning explained to Variety, when asked as to whether the developer would continue to rework the Oddworld games.

“You may even hear about something like that very soon. We have already announced Stranger’s Wrath coming to Switch and we will have a few more Switch related announcements to make after E3. One thing I can say right now, I believe Oddworld fans who own Switch will find 2019 to be a very Oddworld year.”

The developer is currently hard at work on Oddworld: Soulstorm, but, in the past, has released another remaster in Oddworld: Munch’s Odyssey HD on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
