Young Horses has spruced up their dapper octopus, delivering a new software update to Octodad: Dadliest Catch this week.
That tinkering sees the game updated to version 1.0.1, introducing improved performance, addressing audio clipping and slow down issues, and reducing the sensitivity of Octodad’s flailing arms.
We enjoyed Octodad’s Nintendo eShop debut, concluding in our review: “Blubbing in his own world, Octodad: Dadliest Catch revels in its own quirk. Hilarious whether alone or with friends, it is hard to deny the lure of its mischievous charm.”
The complete patch notes are as follows:
- Improved performance in The Deep Sea, Hot Concessions, Amazon Arcade, and Sea Legs levels.
- Fixed audio clipping and slow down in The Deep Sea and Amazon Arcade levels.
- Made arm control less sensitive to prevent unwanted sporadic movement.
