Cornfox & Brothers has confirmed a release date for their action fantasy RPG Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm on Nintendo Switch.

This 20-hour prequel to Oceanhorn: Monsters of Uncharted Seas follows the adventures of a young knight, who explores the regions of Gaia to defend the lands and people of Arcade from Warlock Mesmeroth’s Dark Army.

You are accompanied on your quest by Trin, the granddaughter of Arcadia’s leader Archimedes, and Gen, a mysterious robot wielding an old Samurai weapon.

You must unite the Owrus, Gillfolk and men in your efforts to defeat the Dark Army – traversing a The Legend of Zelda-esque open-world landscape, solving puzzles and besting your enemies in hack ‘n’ slash combat along the way.

“We are extremely excited to be at the finish line of this important milestone for Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm,” explains Cornfox & Brothers creative director Heikki Repo. “Nintendo Switch is such an ideal platform for this type of game, providing smooth controls and an overall enjoyable experience that feels natural. We can’t wait for everyone to try it out for themselves!”

Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 28th October 2020.
