Nyko Technologies took to the Consumer Electronics Show 2013 to showcase their latest product range for Wii U.
Among these were the Charge Station U, Pro Commander controller, UBoost and Charge Base Pro.
Providing the opportunity to charge the Wii U GamePad, two Wii Remotes, the Charge Station U will prove beneficial to those used to long gaming sessions. It includes 2NiMH rechargeable batteries, its own AC power supply, and the cradle portion can be adjusted to grant the perfect viewing angle to watch video content whilst charging. It’s available in white and black, and will be priced at $34.99.
Releasing an alternative to Nintendo’s own Wii U Pro Controller, the Pro Commander reorganises the button layout so that it is similar to that of the Xbox 360. The wireless controller will also be available in either white or black, at a retail price of $34.99.
Alongside this is the UBoost which doubles the battery capacity of the Wii U GamePad, the Charge Base Pro that utilises two dongles that can be used to charge two Wii U Pro Controllers at once, and a Power Stand that provides a further home for the Wii U GamePad whilst charging.
“Nyko is excited to bring our expertise in accessories in the controller, battery and charging categories to the Wii U at the 2013 CES,” comments Chris Arbogast, director of marketing at Nyko Technologies. “We are pleased to showcase such a diverse lineup for the initial offering of the next generation of consoles.”
Each of these products will be available across North America in February, with no confirmation as to a European release.
