Aksys Games has confirmed a release date for the fan-favourite otome game Norn9: Var Commons on Nintendo Switch.
Developer Otomate is behind the game, which was first released on PlayStation Vita back in 2014.
After child prodigy Sorata Suzuhara wanders away from his class on a field trip and blacks out. When he comes to he finds himself in an unfamiliar place and encounters a girl who explains he is in Taisho-era Japan.
She leads him to the Norn, a massive floating airship with technology far beyond Sorata’s imagination, where he meets twelve others – three young women and nine young men – known as Espers. Each have unique powers that allow them to control elements or even human minds, and they are on a journey at the behest of a multinational entity known only as The World.
What is the purpose of their journey? What is their destination, and what is The World? Before Sorata can even begin to grasp his situation, the ship is attacked, and the mystery only deepens. You must delve into the story of the ship and its occupants through the point of view of each of the girls, and unravel the mysteries trapped within.
Those that buy first-run physical copies of the game will receive 12 full-colour character cards inside.
Norn9: Var Commons will release at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 30th March 2023.
