Nordic Games unveil We Dance

Nordic Games Publishing, the company behind the successful We Sing range of Wii games, has announced the first extension to its ‘We’ brand with the introduction of We Dance, a new dancing game exclusive to Wii.

Unlike other dance titles, We Dance will offer three distinct styles of play – using the Wii Remote, using Nordic Games’ dance mate (dubbed the ‘Star Mat’), or utilising a combination of both.

We Dance is due to launch in May, and will feature 40 licensed tracks that are to span four decades of music. The majority of tracks will also include the original videos to further enhance the player’s experience. For added authenticity, all dance steps have been fully choreographed by professional dancers ensuring that We Dance is more rewarding and energetic to play.

“The market is primed for the release of We Dance, and it sits perfectly alongside our family of We Sing games,” comments Nik Blower, Sales and Marketing Director, Nordic Games. “We Dance is a great party and family gaming experience, accessible to people of all ages and abilities. Nordic Games is fast becoming the home of music entertainment on the Wii, and this is a significant extension to our range.”

We Dance is also sponsoring the games industry’s annual awards ceremony, the MCV Awards on April 7th, to be held at The Brewery in London.

We Dance will be available to buy with one or two ‘Star Mats,’ or as a solus game. As with We Sing games, We Dance was developed by Le Cortex alongside Wired Productions.
