Whilst Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance may have only just launched in Japan, and still set for a western release in July, game director Tetsuya Nomura has teased an announcement will soon be made regarding the series’ next instalment.

Within an interview published within the Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance Ultimania, a game guide that is released across Japan, Nomura reveals that the development is hard at work on the next Kingdom Hearts game.

He further states that “there are currently no plans” for a sequel to Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, nor to develop a Kingdom Hearts 3D: Final Mix, so could we next expect the evident arrival of Kingdom Hearts 3 at last?
