Nintendo of Japan have confirmed that they are to release a new colour variation to the Nintendo 3DS next month.
During a Nintendo 3DS Press Conference held earlier today, Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata announced that the ‘Mystic Pink’ model will go on sale on October 20th and is being introduced due to the Nintendo 3DS male to female player ratior being higher than it is on Nintendo DS and Wii.
Both Nintendo of Europe and Nintendo of America have stated that they have no plans currently to bring the same model to the west, so apologies to those that may be keen on the colour variant!
