Nintendo unbox The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Wii U Bundle

With The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Wii U Premium Pack having now become available to purchase across North America, Nintendo have shared an unboxing video for you to marvel at its contents.

It’s the first themed bundle that the company has released themselves, including a Black 32GB Wii U, a Wii U GamePad “adorned with gold lettering, a gold Hyrule crest and gold symbols from the game,” and codes to download a digital copy of Hyrule Historia (North America only) and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Premium Pack will launch across North America on September 20th, and Europe on October 4th.

  1. It’s actually shocking to me that they’re selling a Wind Waker branded system, and instead of preloading the game or including a disc, they just give you a download code. While someone who buys a regular Wii U and a copy of the game on disc can go home and be playing inside of half an hour, the Zelda bundle buyers will have to wait for the ~3GB to download, on top of whatever firmware updates there might be.
