The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth aside, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D still remains as the lone New Nintendo 3DS exclusive.

Launched to coincide with the arrival of the improved handheld last February, Nintendo UK has shared that they “were very pleased” with the game’s release and that it performed “especially well” given that it was targeting a small install base.

“We were very pleased with the release of Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, which did especially well considering it was only released for the New Nintendo 3DS, which as a newly released platform itself, had a much smaller install base than the Nintendo 3DS,” Nintendo UK product manager Gemma Hall shared with MCV.

“This shows that Xenoblade Chronicles still has a very loyal fan base, as well as the potential to recruit new RPG fans wishing to play these critically acclaimed games.”

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is now available exclusively for New Nintendo 3DS worldwide.
