Nintendo UK on tour with Wii U and 3DS this summer

Whilst the United Kingdom basks in scorching weather these past few weeks, Nintendo have shared plans to take the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS on tour throughout summer.

At family friendly outdoor events through July to October, they’ll be setting up The Wii U Den tour and Nintendo 3DS Festival of Fun providing the best place to play the latest Nintendo games.

The Wii U Den Tour will invite attendees to play up to 5 player co-op Mario in New Super Mario Bros. U, discover the world of LEGO City Undercover, get involved in multiplayer mayhem in Nintendo Land and try more upcoming games.

Whereas the Nintendo 3DS Festival of Fun will see a playable line-up that includes Mario Kart 7, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros., Luigi’s Mansion 2, LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins and LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval’s Journey. Competitions and prizes will be available to win, and a message board will be put up to let you share your 3DSreasons as to what you enjoy most about the handheld.

The Wii U Den tour will be visiting the following locations this summer:
– Sunderland Air Show, Seaburn Park, Sunderland (27-28th July)
– Bristol Balloon Fiesta, Ashton Court Estate, Bristol (8-11th August)
– Eastbourne Airborne, King Edwards Parade, Eastbourne (15-18th August)
– Clacton Air Show, Marine Parade West, Clacton-on-Sea (22–23rd August)

The Nintendo 3DS Festival of Fun will be coming to the following locations this summer:
– Sunderland Air Show, Seaburn Park, Sunderland (27-28th July)
– Nottingham Riverside Festival, Victoria Embankment, Nottingham (2-4th August)
– Eastbourne Airborne, King Edwards Parade, Eastbourne (15-18th August)
– Williamson Square (City Centre), William Square, Liverpool (22-25th August)
– Bournemouth Air Festival, Bournemouth Sea Front, Bournemouth (29 August – 1 September)
