Saturday 28th September will see the United Kingdom celebrate the first ever National StreetPass Day, Nintendo have announced.
Nintendo 3DS owners are invited to attend special events being held from 9am at Waterloo Station in London and Manchester’s Piccadilly Station, increasing their StreetPass hits, winning prizes in exclusive competitions, taking photos with Nintendo characters, participating in Mario Kart 7 and Luigi’s Mansion 2 multiplayer challenges and join in a giant real-life version of StreetPass Plaza’s Puzzle Swap. All whilst dodging commuters.
StreetPass Day stands will also be located at two other locations – Eurogamer Expo 2013 at Earls Court in London, where visitors can pick up a free Mario hat by showing their entry wristband or badge, and the Cycle Show NEC Birmingham which will host Mario Kart 7 multiplayer races.
