Nintendo has released a software update for the Nintendo Today! app, which now sees the game on version 1.2.
You can now receive daily notifications about the new content that is added to the app, choosing to receive them in the morning (6.30 – 9.30am), daytime (11am – 2pm), evening (3.30 – 6.30pm) or at night (7 – 10pm).

- You can now receive notifications for the news and content updates delivered to your home screen, once a day during a specified time slot. Choose from morning, daytime, evening, and night.
- Added picture-in-picture video
- Video content can now be displayed on top of the home screen or other apps. You can watch videos while doing something else.
- General improvements
- Several issues have been fixed for a better user experience.
