Changes are afoot at Nintendo, with the company to merge its console and handheld development teams next month.
Such a major organisational change is the first that Nintendo have made in nearly nine years, Nikkei report.
They will work from the Kyoto-based research and development centre, that Nintendo initially invested £127 million into building way back in July 2011.
Both teams will collaborate to share technology and expertise, continuing to steer a path for Nintendo’s future.
