Nintendo has released a new Nintendo Switch system update worldwide, with the portable home console’s current version now 7.0.1.
This has been released to resolve an issue where players were unable to reconnect to the Pokémon GO app when playing Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! after it was paired.

General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience, including:
- Resolved an issue where the Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! games cannot reconnect to the Pokémon GO app if the game software was closed after pairing with the app.
