Nintendo Switch Supports Unreal Engine 4

Epic Games has partnered with Nintendo in order to help Unreal Engine 4 developers release their games on Nintendo Switch.

The developer had appeared on the list of confirmed third-party partners, and later took to social media to confirm their relation with the home gaming console.

Unreal Engine 4 has proven a popular choice for developers, meaning that the news will be welcomed by the wider industry. Games that have put it to use include Eve: Valkyrie, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Gears of War 4, Kingdom Hearts III, Shenmue III, and Dragon Quest XI, which is confirmed for release on Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo Switch will release worldwide in March 2017.
