Nintendo of America has announced the Nintendo Switch games that will be playable at PAX East this week, revealing a lineup that includes Dark Souls Remastered, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, and Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido.
There will also be a selection of unreleased indie games within the Nindie Arcade, with the independent developers behind them available to talk about their games.
Those that visit the booth can also compete in informal four-on-four Splatoon 2 matches, mini-game challenges in the Super Mario Odyssey, and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze speed runs.
Free poster giveaways will happen at the Nintendo booth, where visitors can check in with their My Nintendo QR Code to receive a My Nintendo pass – allowing access to a priority line to skip ahead to play select games at specified times. Once the My Nintendo passes run out, those that don’t receive them will be given a My Nintendo pin instead.

The indie games that will be playable in the Nindie Arcade, include:

- Just Shapes & Beats*
- Lumines Remastered*
- Next Up Hero
- Pode
- Pool Panic
- Runner3
- The Messenger*
- West of Loathing*
*First time playable by the public.
PAX East will take place from Thursday 5th – Sunday 8th April at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
Yay! More ports that are in some cases later, more expensive and run worse than elsewhere.
But that you can take with you much more easily than with your laptop. Playing “good enough” ports while lounging around the house (instead of being tethered to the couch) or easily sharing a couch co-op game with a friend, whenever, wherever is awesome (even if you wanna play on the tv, you can just slide the system into any dock. No need to mess around with cables when playing games you own that your friend doesn’t while at their house).
