Nintendo has announced that Nintendo Switch Online maintenance will take place this week, as well as on the Nintendo Network for Nintendo 3DS.
For Nintendo Switch, that will see online multiplayer in unspecified games become unavailable
on Tuesday 8th May between 1.50am – 5am BST, on Wednesday 9th May from 5am – 8am BST, and, lastly, on Thursday 10th May between 3.50am – 5.30am BST.
And then, for Nintendo 3DS, network services for unspecified games will become temporarily unavailable on Tuesday 8th May between 5am – 8am BST, and on Wednesday 9th May from 2am – 4am BST.
Whether this extensive maintenance is in preparation for anything more significant is unclear, but it does mean that those around the world may briefly be unable to play their favourite games.
