Nintendo has unveiled a new Nintendo Switch Mario Red and Blue Edition bundle, which comes complete with a “distinct red-and-blue colour scheme in honour of Mario’s iconic outfit.”
The special edition hardware will be made available at select retailers from 12th February 2021, priced at $299.99.
The bundle comes packed with red Joy-Con controllers with blue straps, a blue Joy-Con grip, a red Nintendo Switch dock and a red Nintendo Switch system – which marks the first time that the portable home console has been released in a new colour.
Those that pick the bundle up with also receive a stylised Mario Red and Blue Edition Carrying Case and a screen protector “to help protect the Nintendo Switch system when travelling through Warp Pipes or anywhere else life’s adventures may lead.”
The bundle continues to celebrate Super Mario Bros. 35th anniversary and lands at retailers a few days after Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury.
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 12th February 2021.
