Nintendo Switch Has Sold 61.44 Million Units Worldwide

Nintendo has announced that more than 61.44 million Nintendo Switch consoles have been sold worldwide.

In the last three months – covering the start of April up until 30th June 2020 – 5.68 million Nintendo Switch consoles have been sold, with software sales in the same time period shifting 50.43 million copies.

The company added that this “breaks down to sales of 3.05 million units of Nintendo Switch and 2.62 million units of Nintendo Switch Lite.”

Nintendo has now sold more than 406.67 million Nintendo Switch games, and, if you want to know which are proving to be most popular, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has sold 26.74 million, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has sold 22.4 million, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has sold 19.99 million copies,  The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has sold 18.6 million, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield have sold 18.22 million, while Super Mario Odyssey has sold 18.06 million copies.

Meanwhile, Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! have sold 12.2 million, Super Mario Party has sold 10.94 million, Splatoon 2 has sold 10.71 million, and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe has sold 7.44 million copies.
