Nintendo has announced that more than 111.08 million Nintendo Switch consoles have now been sold worldwide.

In the three months that cover the start of April up until 30th June 2022, 3.43 million Nintendo Switch (OLED Model), Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite consoles were sold.

The company acknowledged that sales from its dedicated video game business had declined by 4.3 percent year-on-year, but reasoned that “hardware production was impacted by factors such as the global shortage of semiconductor components, resulting in a decrease in hardware shipments and subsequent decline in overall sales.”
