Nintendo has announced that more than 103.54 million Nintendo Switch consoles have been sold worldwide.

In the three months that cover the start of October up until 31st December 2021, 10.67 million Nintendo Switch (OLED Model), Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite consoles were sold.

That means that 18.95 million units have been sold in the first nine months of the company’s current financial year, representing a 21.4 percent decrease year-on-year. Nintendo attributes this decline to the incredible boost to the portable home console’s momentum that Animal Crossing: New Horizons provided the year before.

Nintendo has now sold more than 766.41 million Nintendo Switch games, and, if you want to know which are proving to be most popular, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has sold 43.35 million, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has sold 37.62 million, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has sold 27.40 million copies,  The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has sold 25.80 million, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield have sold 23.90 million, while Super Mario Odyssey has sold 23.02 million copies.

Meanwhile, Super Mario Party has sold 17.39 million, Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! have sold 14.33 million, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl have sold 13.97 million copies, and Ring Fit Adventure has sold 13.53 million copies.
