Nintendo Switch 2 stock is starting to be delivered to retail stores across the United States, as the console’s launch draws ever closer.
In a now-deleted post on Reddit, user sadgepvc states that their “smaller” Target store in New Jersey had received 40 consoles – 20 standalone consoles and 20 Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundles – straight from the retailer’s warehouse. These weren’t to fulfil pre-orders but will be made available for purchase in-store from the console’s launch date.
YouTuber Jake Randall has also shared a photo on X, that shows the consoles stored in a padlocked cage on a Target store’s shop floor. It’s unclear whether the photo is his own or if it has been reposted from elsewhere.
Nintendo Switch 2 will be released at retailers around the world on 5 June 2025, priced at £395.99 in the United Kingdom, €469.99 across Europe, and $449.99 in the United States.
