Retailers have started to open Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders now that the successor to the original portable home console has been revealed to the world.
In the UK and Europe, retailers have pushed live their pre-orders despite Nintendo stating that they would open from Tuesday 8 April.
There’s bad news for those in the United States, however. Soon after Nintendo of America confirmed that pre-orders would open from Wednesday 9 April, a decision was taken to delay them “to assess the potential impact of tariffs and evolving market conditions.”
While the company further stated that the Nintendo Switch 2 release date remains unchanged, it is unclear at this point when pre-orders will open across the country.
