Nintendo share Smash Bros. Sound Selection CD & Mewtwo promotion reminder
With Super Smash Bros. for Wii U nearly upon us, we’ve today been reminded of the Club Nintendo promotion available to those that also purchase Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.
For those in Europe, if you register both new iterations of the mascot brawler before 22:59 GMT (23:59 CET) on 20th January 2015 you can claim the lengthily named Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS & Wii U: Premium Sound Selection exclusive double CD set. This 72-track album plucks music from the handheld and console versions, with eligible participants needing to lay claim to it through Club Nintendo by 22;59 GMT (23:59 CET) on 27th January 2015. After which, it will shortly be sent out to everyone in the first quarter of 2015.
Registering both games before 22:59 GMT (23:59 CET) on 31st March 2015 will also allow you to receive free download codes – one Wii U, one 3DS – for Mewtwo. Again you will need to claim your reward through Club Nintendo by 22:59 GMT (23:59 CET) on 7th April 2015. Codes will then be distributed in spring 2015, and must be redeemed within one month.
Meanwhile, for those that don’t want to buy both versions, Nintendo have confirmed that Mewtwo will be made available to purchase in future.
