After delivering extensive trailers earlier in the day, Nintendo have now shared a “Developer Direct” for Super Smash Bros.

Within, creator Masahiro Sakurai takes a look at both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U versions. He affirms that both will have the same characters, although stages will differ between the two – the Nintendo 3DS seeing stages based upon popular handheld releases.

Details he touches upon include Samus’ model is updated, Pit having new moves, and viewers get taken through all moves and combos for Villager (from Animal Crossing), Mega Man, and the controversial addition of the Wii Fit Trainer.

Super Smash Bros. will release on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in 2014.
