Nintendo’s share price has continued to rise today, reaching an increase of ten per cent at times.

However, it ended the day sat slightly short of such a pinnacle on a comfortable increase of 8.1 per cent with shares priced at ¥13,100 each.

Whilst today saw rumours of a Nintendo 3DS redesign emerge, such a spike was actually caused by reports of a Nintendo trade show in Tokyo to be held on September 13th that will focus solely on the handheld. Investors have speculated that Nintendo are due to announce new software for the system.
