Nintendo set up The Pokémon Adventure Camp for GuilFest

Nintendo have announced that visitors to this years GuilFest – to take place in Guildford, Surrey between 15-17th July -will mark the appearance of The Pokémon Adventure Camp at the festival, offering a range of exciting activities for fans.

Upon entry to GuilFest, you’ll receive a special training card and if you complete your training within each area – such as battling, trading and collecting – you’ll receive an official Pokémon adventure cap.

Attendees will be able to look forward to experiencing the Pokédex 3D application for Nintendo 3DS, and will be able to utilise large Augmented Reality Markers that will enable you to be photographed next to a life-size 3D animated Pokémon.

You’ll also have to spy Augmented Reality Markers that are able to be collected for the application, which will allow you to take pictures of Pokémon in fun and unusual places.

For those with either Pokémon Black or Pokémon White for Nintendo DS, you’ll also have a chance to download Shelmet and Karrablast at the festival.

The latest Pokémon movie – Zoroark: Master of Illusions – is also due to be screened on Saturday and Sunday morning at the Vintage Fayre, and fans will also be able to view concept artwork from Pokémon Black and Pokémon White.

Tepig, Oshawott, Snivy and Pikachu will also be soaking up the festival atmosphere, allowing visitors to have a photo with their favourite Pokémon character and even have their face painted.
