Nintendo of America has announced that Kirby Triple Deluxe and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team will join the Nintendo Selects range in mid-February, seeing the Nintendo 3DS exclusives permanently discounted to $19.99.
Nintendo 3DS games that are already available in the Nintendo Selects range include Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Tomodachi Life, LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins, nintendogs + cats, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Mario Party: Island Tour, Yoshi’s New Island, and Disney Frozen: Olaf’s Quest.
In our review, we concluded that Kirby Triple Deluxe was “as much a technical extravaganza for the 3DS hardware as Super Mario 3D Land was nearly three years ago. Kirby truly shines here under HAL Laboratory’s perfected craftsmanship, ultimately seeing the developer deliver the handheld’s first blockbuster of 2014.”
Whereas for Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, we wrote: “There’s so much to enjoy within Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros. that it’s almost a shame to spoil it. Whilst perhaps not the strongest within Alphadream’s popular series, such a statement merely discredits the unendingly joyous experience provided from start to finish. Fans won’t want to miss out, whilst those new to the series should expect it to be a perfect entry point.”
