Nintendo scoop three awards at the 18th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards

Nintendo walked away from the 18th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards with three more successes to their name.

The all-peer-based voting system resulted in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U being crowned Fighting Game of the Year, Mario Kart 8 as Racing Game of the Year, and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS as Handheld Game of the Year.

It was BioWare’s Dragon Age: Inquisition that went on to claim Game of the Year, although saw strong competition from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor which won eight of its nine nominations.
