Nintendo of America has confirmed its plans to hold a Nintendo Switch 2 launch event at its Nintendo San Francisco store (331 Powell Street, San Francisco, California 94102).
Acknowledging “the overwhelming excitement,” a Warp Pipe Pass reservation is required to attend the Nintendo San Francisco – Nintendo Switch 2 Launch Night Shopping Session and to purchase Nintendo Switch 2 products.
You can enter the drawing to receive a Warp Pipe Pass until Tuesday 27 May. This will grant you entry to the 9pm – 11pm PT shopping session, with passes limited and made available on a first-come, first-served basis, with reservations requiring a Nintendo Account.
All Nintendo Switch 2 products will be limited to one per customer, which will include one Nintendo Switch 2 system or Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle, one of each game, one of each accessory and one of each amiibo while supplies last.
Within this shopping session, only Nintendo Switch 2 products will be available to purchase, meaning that you will not be able to buy any other merchandise such as apparel, hardware, games, or accessories.
Nintendo Switch 2 will be released at retailers around the world on 5 June 2025, priced at £395.99 in the United Kingdom, €469.99 across Europe, and $449.99 in the United States.
