Within a new Japanese overview video, Nintendo have revealed that the Kirby, King Dedede and Meta Knight amiibo will be compatible with Kirby and the Rainbow Curse.
These will see Kirby power-up with a Star and respective character hats, similar to those he wears in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, seemingly strengthening his attacks and allowing you to take more damage – although it isn’t entirely clear from the video.
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse will release for Wii U in Japan on January 22nd, North America on February 13th, and Europe later in the year.
