Nintendo have begun taking pre-orders for their amiibo character figures in the UK, with specialist retailer GAME and the Nintendo Official UK Store having set the price tag.
As with Nintendo of America, they will kickstart their jump into the toys-to-life category with 12 interactive figures. These include Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Fox McCloud, Samus, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Pikachu, Kirby and Marth. Phew.
These will interact with numerous games once Nintendo implements support, and are set to launch alongside Super Smash Bros. for Wii U later this year.
Each figure will be priced at £10.99 each, which amounts to an eye-watering £131.88 for those wishing to purchase the entire 12-strong line-up at launch.
