Nintendo have announced that they are to showcase a range of their Wii titles at family-friendly ‘Winter Wonderland’ events at both Edinburgh and Cardiff.

Running between late November 2010 right through to early January 2011, Nintendo will place a ‘Wii Join the Party’ stand in which will house a range of family games including Ubisoft’s Just Dance 2, Nordic Games’ We Sing Robbie Williams, Nintendo’s Wii Party and Konami’s Karaoke Revolution Glee.

Nintendo are to also offer a festive gift wrap service for any software purchased at the stand.

“We will be showcasing the Wii to a key audience at a key time – families pre-Christmas,” commented Natasha Chatur, Events and Partnerships Manager, to MCV.

“Winter Wonderland has a great atmosphere and really evokes Christmas spirit. It’s the ideal time and place to show how everyone can have fun on the Wii.”
