Nintendo Players UK has launched a Pikmin 3 Deluxe community art comic contest to celebrate the upcoming real-time strategy game crash landing on Nintendo Switch.
You have until 5pm BST on Friday 23rd October to enter, with the challenge to draw a Pikmin-inspired comic with two to four panels either on paper or digitally.
Your entry will need to be submitted on Twitter using the hashtag #NPUKPikminComic, with Nintendo Players UK founders to select the best 8 comics before putting them to a public vote from Saturday 24th October.
The winner and runner up will receive a digital copy of Pikmin 3 Deluxe, with a £10 Nintendo eShop code for those that are left to secure third to eight placings.
Round 1 – Submissions
- The competition opens at 5pm BST on Friday 9th October.
- Entrants have 2 weeks from the start date to submit a Pikmin-themed comic strip.
- The comic must be 2 panels minimum, 4 panels maximum.
- Comics can be created on paper or digitally. Please ensure that all work is your own, and that you do not use assets created by other people or organisations.
- Submissions are via Twitter and must contain the hashtag #NPUKPikminComic.
- The deadline for submissions is 5PM BST on Friday 23rd October.
Round 2 – NPUK Founders Vote
- Nintendo Players UK founders will participate in a round of preferential voting to determine the top 8 comics from all submissions.
- Voting will commence at 5PM BST on Friday 23rd October, and last for 24 hours.
Round 3 – Public Vote
- The top 8 comics with the most votes from round 2 will be posted on the NPUK Twitter page at 5PM BST on Saturday 24th October.
- Click the like button on the relevant post to cast your vote for your favourite comic.
- The public vote closes 5PM BST on Thursday 28th October.
