The Nintendo Creators Program launched with the promise that applications would be reviewed and finalised within three working days.
As with any new service, especially one in beta, Nintendo have been overwhelmed by enthusiasm behind the program, struggling to meet such a tight turn around.
“Thank you very much for participating in the Nintendo Creators Program,” they began. “Due to your enthusiasm for the program, we’re receiving a higher volume of applications to register channels and videos than expected. It is taking longer than we anticipated to confirm the applications. We appreciate your patience as we work through them as quickly as possible.”
Looking to alleviate the load, they have reminded those applying to the program that users can only register videos and channels that contain games specified in their whitelist of supported games.
