The Nintendo Official UK Store has confirmed that they are to release “replenishment stock of certain amiibo figures this week.”
They reiterated their commitment to keep “amiibo affordable and easy to access,” presumably in response to scalpers that haven’t particularly helped supply issues in their quest for a quick profit.
“As the first to know, we are pleased to inform you Nintendo Official UK Store will be releasing replenishment stock of certain amiibo figures this week,” the online retailer confirmed in an email to previous customers. “Please keep checking back on the store from today as these amiibo figures will gradually become available to order.”
Regrettably the Nintendo Official UK Store haven’t clarified which amiibo will shortly become available, instead recommending those interested to keep an eye on their dedicated amiibo page.
The email continued, “Nintendo Official UK Store appreciates the enthusiasm you have continued to show toward amiibo. We have continued to see consumer demand outpace supply levels for certain characters at times, and we are doing our best to prevent this from happening. The store remains committed to keeping amiibo affordable and easy to access to enhance gameplay experiences.”
How can I order them if I live in America? The only country option I’m given at checkout is the UK. 🙁
