Nintendo of Europe has today announced a new partnership with Napster, which will see their music streaming service become available on Wii U this week.

The free downloadable application will allow you to blare out more than 34 million tracks, with Napster Unlimited subscribers able to start listening straight away. Those without a subscription can register for a 30-day free trial at the Napster website, before choosing whether to continue to access the service.

The Wii U GamePad’s touch screen can be used to search for any specific track, album or artist, letting you browse by genre as well as top albums, tracks and artists. Curated radio stations let you listen to music categorised by genre, artist, theme or mood, while Napster Playlists and personal playlists will let you queue up your favourite tracks – which can be done through the Napster app for smartphones and tablets or online.

Napster will release for Wii U through the Nintendo eShop across Europe on December 17th.
