After weeks of uneasy speculation, Nintendo of America have confirmed that they will publish Wii U exclusive Devil’s Third in the Americas.
Valhalla Game Studios and creator Tomonobu Itagaki’s over-the-top, third-person action shooter will launch at retail and through the Nintendo eShop in Q4 2015 bringing a unique blend of modern military weaponry with swordplay and melee combat.
“Devil’s Third delivers a unique combination of shooting and melee combat to provide Wii U owners with a fresh action-oriented experience,” comments Itagaki. “We’ve been working hard on the game and can’t wait for fans to get their hands on it later this year.”
Devil’s Third releases exclusively for Wii U in Japan on August 4th, Europe on August 28th, Australia on August 29th, and in North America in Q4 2015.
I’ve been waiting for this game to be released. I feel as if this game is going to be really fun, I can’t wait to see how they integrated sword play/melee combat, with modern shooting weaponry into the game-play. Also I’m curious to use if they make the player, in the midst of playing the game, need to use melee to take out some enemies.
