Nintendo of America launch “Play As You Are” campaign

Within their latest advertisement campaign for the Nintendo 3DS, entitled “Play As You Are,” Nintendo of America aim to demonstrate how women and young girls can explore their interests and individuality through portable gaming.

To do so, they’ve enlisted well-known television stars Dianna Agron (Glee), Sarah Hyland (Modern Family) and Olympic medal-winning gymnast Gabrielle Douglas, who will demonstrate this.

Gabrielle will aim for gold in New Super Mario Bros. 2, Dianna will showcase her artistic skills in Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone! and test her puzzle-solving in Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, and Sarah will look to spot clothing trends in Style Savvy: Trendsetters as well as customise photos in Sparkle Snapshots 3D.

“These women are all amazing role models with their own unique tastes and talents,” shared Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing.

“They know firsthand how Nintendo 3DS can keep them entertained and engaged wherever they go. We think young girls and women of all ages will enjoy hearing what they have to say about their favorite games and activities on Nintendo 3DS.”
