Nintendo Network experiencing issues across Wii U and 3DS

Update: The Nintendo Network is now operating normally, with Nintendo stating that there should be no more issues being encountered by users across eShop and Miiverse.

Original Story: Just when you thought everything was back to normal, the Nintendo Network is once again experiencing issues in relation to both the Nintendo eShop and Miiverse services.

It’s affecting both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, with the company clarifying that the problems were identified this morning at 8.30am GMT.

“Some parts of the service are currently experiencing a fault. We apologise for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience,” they write, although give no indication as to when they expect it to be rectified.

Nintendo previously stated that they did “not anticipate any further outages” after those that plagued the service over the Christmas holidays, although it would seem that something else has now cropped up
