You can now watch this week’s Nintendo Minute episode, in which Nintendo of America’s Kit Ellis and Krysta Yang play Luigi’s Mansion 3 in co-op.

Recorded at PAX West, they are joined by the game’s creative director Bryce Holliday as a special guest – sharing insight into the Nintendo Switch exclusive’s development.

In Luigi’s Mansion 3, after receiving an invitation to a luxurious hotel, Luigi sets out on a dream vacation with Mario and friends. However, his dream soon becomes a nightmare when King Boo reveals that it was a plan to capture them all.

With help from Professor E. Gadd, the reluctant and cowardly hero must work his way through the hotel’s haunted floors in an effort to save his friends.

He carries the upgraded Poltergust G-00 that can be used to slam and blow away the ghosts’ defenses, or summon the all-green doppelganger Gooigi for help – whether playing solo or in co-operative multiplayer.

The game’s ScareScraper mode can be played online or locally with up to eight players on four Nintendo Switch consoles, challenging players to clear objectives on a series of floors within the time limit.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide on October 31st.
