This week’s Nintendo Minute episode is in, with Nintendo of America’s Kit Ellis and Krysta Yang not only talking about their recent trip to Nintendo’s headquarters in Kyoto, Japan, but has seen them celebrate a milestone in it being their 250th episode.

On the first day of their trip, while waiting for their 5,413-mile flight from San Francisco International Airport to Kansai International Airport, they had the chance to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with ARMS producer Kosuke Yabuki and Splatoon 2 producer Hisashi Nogami.

It was on the second day that they visited Nintendo’s headquarters, where they were able to check out the traditional-styled tatami rooms that employees can relax in, to then battle it out in ARMS over a bowl of ramen in the cafeteria.

Their third day was spent exploring Kyoto and admiring the cherry blossom, and, on their last day, they talked about the Nintendo-themed souvenirs that they bought to take back home – such as the Super Famicom Classic Edition and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Master Works book.

“Today is a special day for many reasons. First, we got to go on a really exciting trip to Kyoto, Japan to visit Nintendo HQ. This is really the trip of a lifetime and we’re so happy to get the chance to share it with all of you,” the Nintendo of America duo excitedly share.

“It just so happens that this video also marks 250 Nintendo Minute episodes! We truly love this show and we’re so grateful for all your support. We hope that we can make many more episodes and continue to share all things Nintendo with you. As always, thank you so much for watching and we’ll see you next week!”
