Nintendo has revealed the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 03: Vehicle Kit, the next interactive build-and-play experience that comes with materials that let you create customisable cardboard creations.

This time around that will let you build a car, submarine, plane, pedal, two keys and more. Once you insert one of the keys into any of the three vehicles, you can enjoy fun games and activities – removing the key from one slot and inserting it into another to transform into a pilot or submarine captain.

You can speed through races, battle cars equipped with extendable arms and explore a mysterious world, with each vehicle having its own controls and special moves. And, if you insert the second key, players can invite a co-pilot to join them on their adventure.

Each vehicle has its own controls and special moves – for example, you can pull the cord on the car to perform a wheelie or push the button on the submarine to launch a grappling hook – and, with the second key, players can even invite a co-pilot along on their in-game journey.

And, as before, you can continue to experiment with Toy-Con Garage, an intuitive and interactive programming tool that introduces simple principles of technology, allowing players to combine various simple inputs and outputs to invent their own new ways to play.

“Our goal is to put smiles on the faces of everyone Nintendo touches,” explains Nintendo of Europe COO and president Stephan Bole.

“We hope that the new Nintendo Labo: Vehicle Kit, which allows players to build three different vehicles and play with them together, will introduce totally new players to the unique combination of making, playing, and discovering.”

Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 03: Vehicle Kit will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide on September 14th.
