Giving Mirror’s Edge’s Faith a run for her money, Nintendo have filmed a fairly lengthy segment in which they imagine Luigi as being a “Legend of Parkour.”
“Y’know he could jump higher. He could jump farther. He was everywhere. And then he just slid off the map, and then he was gone,” a voiceover explains.
It’s bizarre. Pro parkour athletes reminiscing about the impact that Luigi had on the sport, and with mention of partnering with Nabbit we can only think that it’s an attempt at viral marketing for New Super Luigi U. With the green-clad plumber still missing, the “Finding Luigi” documentary remains unfinished which sees the filmmakers chase Nabbit hoping he’ll lead them to Mario’s brother.
