Nintendo has started accepting applications for the job of a lifetime, in looking to hire a level designer for The Legend of Zelda series.

Whoever is successful in the role will be responsible for creating game events, dungeons, field planning and enemies from their original designs to actual implementation. And, to help those that are looking to apply, Nintendo is looking for someone with game planning experience on console games and who has confidence in communicating in Japanese.

Those with applications that piques the company’s interest will have to take a practical exam, before two interviews and one last informal meeting.

Whoever is successful will then have a three-month trial period, with the chance that their contract is renewed for the duration of the project they will be working on.

We know that work has now been completed on downloadable content for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Expansion Pass, but it is unclear whether the team will look to iterate on the impressive game engine that was created for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U exclusive or move on to something completely different.
