Nintendo Has Sent Four Players To Compete At EVO 2019

Nintendo of America has announced that they have sent four players to compete at the Evolution Championship Series (EVO) 2019 this weekend.

This is the first year that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be featured at the fighting game tournament, closing out the event on the main stage this Sunday.

To mark the occasion, Nintendo has sent the four winners of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Online Open June 2019 tournament – RamonM64, Wisdom, Seth, and Heeew – to compete against other top players at the event.

Those at the event will also be able to visit the Nintendo Zone booth on Friday 2nd – Saturday 3rd August, where they can play Super Mario Maker 2, Tetris 99, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – with commemorative items being handed out such as a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate pin or Nintendo Switch tote bag.

Evolution Championship Series (EVO) 2019 will be held from Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th August at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
