University students across Tokyo and Osaka will be able to enlist to attend Nintendo Games Seminars, which make their return after three years of absence.

Having previously ran between 2005 – 2010, these are held in the evening and see those in attendance form teams who will then work on their own games.

This year, they will focus on the recently announced Nintendo Web Framework, which allows developers to use HTML5, CSS and Javascript to craft their games.

Whilst participation is freely available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, spaces are limited to just 12 at each location (24 in total), with the seminar taking place between July 2013 to March 2014.

Application details are to be published on May 13th, and those applying may choose between programming, graphic design, or sound as their focus.
