Nintendo has announced that it plans to open Nintendo Fukuoka by the end of this year, continuing to expand the company’s retail presence across Japan.
This will be the fourth official store that Nintendo has opened within its home country, joining its existing Nintendo Tokyo, Nintendo Osaka and Nintendo Kyoto retail outlets.
Nintendo Fukuoka will be situated in the Amu Plaza Hakata shopping complex, which will be a convenient location even for those travelling the breadth of the country, as it is directly linked to the JR Hakata City train station.
Fukuoka is the sixth-largest city in Japan and the capital city of Fukuoka Prefecture, situated in the country’s Kyushu region, which is its southernmost island.
