This week’s Nintendo eShop releases for North America are in, delivering new content on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS – as well as plentiful discounts.

Nintendo Switch Demos

  • Mighty Gunvolt Burst, Inti Creates – Free
    Rather than make a direct sequel to their bite-sized 2D action game Mighty Gunvolt from 2014, Inti Creates has made the next instalment in the Mighty Gunvolt series a brand new full-sized game that features characters from multiple universes with Gunvolt (Azure Striker Gunvolt) and Beck (Mighty No. 9) taking the stage once again, but in a much deeper and more expansive world that differs greatly from the original in many ways.

Nintendo Switch Games

  • ACA NEOGEO The King of Fighters ’96, Hamster Corporation – $7.99
    The King of Fighters ’96 is a fighting game released by SNK in 1996. A total of 27 playable characters are available. New game mechanics such as the Emergency Evasion, short and mid-hops make their entry for the first time in the legendary Series, adding a new depth to the fights. The story focuses on the second chapter of the Orochi trilogy.
  • Arcade Archives VS. Super Mario Bros., Hamster Corporation – $7.99
    VS. Super Mario Bros. is an action game released in 1986 by Nintendo. Mario and Luigi must go on a widespread adventure in order to rescue Peach from the clutches of Bowser. This version is from the Nintendo VS.SYSTEM, and the positions of enemies and items differ from the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) version.
  • Guns, Gore and Cannoli, Crazy Monkey – $9.99
    Welcome to Thugtown circa 1920, the height of Prohibition. Prepare yourself for a non-stop, action-packed, completely over-the-top, fast-paced, platform game.
